Tom Ford BEAUTY were kind enough to send me some new products to try and review for you, and of course I snapped up the chance because A) Tom Ford and B) MAKE UP YAY.

All in all the ‘extreme mascara’, the ‘eye defining pen’, nail lacquer in ‘bordeaux lust’, the ‘brow sculpting kit’ & the ‘violet fatale’ lip colour.

Of course I had a little play around with everything, set my camera on self timer, took a bunch of selfies and a few ‘crazy lady’ photos too. I have to say my favourite is without a shadow of a doubt the eye defining pen. I mean what a product, and why was this not invented before? Consisting of TWO liner pens, one on either end, one smaller and stiffer than the other & giving you no option other than creating THE perfect, killer sharp winged liner.

In at number two in the ranking, is the brow sculpting kit, mine is in the medium shade. The packaging is nothing but FIYAAAA and the shadow shades quite simply are perfect for my brows. I’m yet to try the angled brush that comes with it though, I never usually use the brushes that come in kits just because they’re always too small. Here’s an idea TOM FORD.. Invent an extendable one?

In at number three, it’s a draw with the extreme mascara and the lip colour which was the ‘violet fatale’ shade. a VERY statement colour, VERY long lasting and a tad on the shimmery side. I found when removing the colour my lips were stained a lighter violet for a good few hours after. A pro and a con I suppose. As for the mascara, extreme indeed it is! The wand is pretty fat and chunky which normally is not what I go for in a mascara. However, give it about three coats and my lashes were popping. No falsies needed…

Just patience.

Hi Dina. Firstly congratulations on your new baby girl. And secondly a huge pat on back for talking about your baby blues n Borderline PND. Something a lot of women go suffer that usually goes unnoticed by the world around them. We tried contacting you during ur pregnancy too as we are a charity based organisation that offers a volunteer Doula service to the most vulnerable…in antenatal during birth and postnatal for 6weeks.
We are very well established in Bradford and are always looking for people to endorse/sponsor their time to support the work we are carrying out. We also believe this is being rolled in Bham as well as other replica schemes in the UK. Of you think it sounds interesting and u could offer your experience and input please give us a shout.
Big up on the blogs and videos…i cudnt pick up the phone in first 6 wks of my baby being born. Ul be a fab example for many of your followers inshallah x
